She leads Decode, a vertical for BOOM where the focus is on the intersection between technology and people's lives. She commissions, edits and reports on polarisation, disinformation and human rights.

He previously interned with IndiaSpend as a fact-checker and was a reporting intern at The Times of India, The Indian Express, and Mid-Day. He holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Journalism from St. Pauls Institute of Communication Education, Mumbai.
Hera Rizwan is a correspondent with Decode. She covers AI, technology, and accountability, with a focus on how digital systems shape welfare, governance, and public life in India. Her work examines the real-world impact of emerging technologies, from biometric systems and surveillance tools to platform-driven scams and digital policy. She has reported extensively on cybercrime, AI in welfare delivery, and the intersection of tech and democracy. She is a Pulitzer Grantee and won Ramnath Goenka Award for Investigative Reporting in 2022.
Divya Chandra is Producer, Workshops and Training at BOOM FactCheck. She conducts training sessions and LIVE workshops to teach the art of fact-checking. Previously, she was Correspondent-Fact Check at The Quint. She did her Masters in Journalism from Symbiosis Institute of Media & Communication, Pune.
